How we approach each service
Every watch that arrives at Waktu Atelier is assessed before any service begins. We look at the movement type, the condition of the case and crystal, and the state of any seals. This assessment shapes what we recommend and forms the basis of the written condition note you receive.
We do not begin service work without your agreement on the scope and price. If we discover something during a service that changes what is needed, we stop and discuss it with you before continuing. This applies to every service, at every price point.
After service, watches are checked before collection — timing verified on mechanical pieces, pressure tested on water-resistant models, and the condition note updated to reflect the completed work.

Service 01
Everyday Care Check
RM 150
A light service for daily-wear watches. Suitable for a watch that is running and wearing well but has not had any professional attention in a year or more. Battery renewal is included where needed, seals are inspected, and the exterior is cleaned carefully. On water-resistant models, a pressure test is run and recorded.

Complete Restoration
RM 610
A full movement service for older or long-neglected pieces — watches that have not been serviced in many years, that are running slow or erratically, or that you simply want to enjoy again at their best. The movement is fully disassembled, parts are cleaned ultrasonically, new lubricants are applied in the correct places, and the movement is reassembled and regulated. Case and crystal receive attention too.

Service 03
Strap & Fit Service
RM 300
A thoughtful refresh for a watch that feels loose, worn, or simply no longer comfortable at the wrist. We fit a new strap or bracelet and size it precisely for comfortable daily wear. Before fitting, we offer honest guidance on materials — leather, rubber, or metal — that suit your routine and the Malaysian climate, with no pressure toward any particular option.

These protocols are not reserved for a particular tier — they apply to all work done at Waktu Atelier.
Written condition documentation
Every piece receives a condition note on arrival and at collection, regardless of service type.
No work without consent
Any additional finding is discussed with you before work proceeds. Nothing added to your bill unexpectedly.
Safe handling throughout
Watches are stored securely with their intake records while in the studio. Professional tools used at all times.
Pressure testing where applicable
Water-resistant models are pressure tested after service. Results recorded in the condition note.
Timing checked on mechanicals
After full movement services, timing is measured and the deviation recorded — not estimated.
